The Ichabon Train will be the new blog home for posts about Alexis and her new little sister, Hannah. Particularly since the addition of Hannah, we've been dilatory about updating We All Love Alexis, and there's no way we're going to keep two different blogs going with the chaos that is our life. But hopefully we can update this one from time to time.
The blog name is a hybrid of Hannah's nickname, Ichabon (pronounced "ickabahn") and Lexi's current favorite show, Dinosaur Train.
Lexi made up the name Ichabon in a dialog around last Christmas that went like this:
Lex: "I have a baby in my tummy."
Me (hearing that baby Jesus in the tummy is a common thing for little girls around Christmas): "Oh, is that baby Jesus?"
Lex: "No, it's a different baby."
Me (thinking that teen pregnancy is bad enough, and Lex is only three): "Oh, what's that baby's name?"
Lex: "Ichabon."
Somehow it then got applied to the baby that was in Karissa's tummy, and we still frequently refer to Hannah as Ichabon or just "Icha."
